Laser Hair Removal with OPTIMAS

Laser hair removal with OPTIMAS is an aesthetic treatment designed to progressively reduce hair growth by applying energy to the hair follicle.

What it is

Laser hair removal with OPTIMAS is an aesthetic treatment designed to progressively reduce hair growth by applying energy to the hair follicle. This energy is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and helps weaken the follicle, gradually reducing the amount and thickness of the hair as the sessions progress.

The treatment can be performed on different areas of the body, such as the underarms, legs, face, arms, back and bikini area. Before each session, an assessment is carried out to analyse skin tone and the colour, thickness and density of the hair, in order to personalise the device settings.

How is laser hair removal performed?

  1. Initial assessment
The characteristics of the skin and hair are reviewed to determine whether the treatment is suitable and to establish a personalised protocol.
  2. Preparing the area
The skin must be clean and, generally, shaved. It is recommended to avoid methods that remove the hair from the root, such as waxing or tweezing, before the treatment.
  3. Applying OPTIMAS technology
Pulses or passes are delivered over the selected area. The energy is directed at the hair follicle to act on its ability to produce new hair.
  4. Protection and comfort
During the procedure, the protective measures indicated by the professional are followed and the settings are adjusted according to each patient’s characteristics.
  5. Aftercare
At the end, recommendations are given for looking after the skin, such as avoiding direct sun exposure, using sunscreen and not applying irritating products for the time indicated.

Benefits

  • Helps progressively reduce hair growth.
  • Reduces how often shaving is needed.
  • Supports smoother skin.
  • May help reduce the irritation caused by frequent shaving.
  • Allows different areas of the body to be treated.
  • The protocol is adapted to each patient’s needs.

To achieve optimal results, a protocol of several sessions is required, as the treatment acts mainly on follicles that are in certain growth phases. The number of sessions may vary depending on the area, the skin type, the colour and thickness of the hair, and each person’s individual characteristics.

How it fits within the program

It is part of Beauty. Within the program it can be combined with other options; which ones, and in what order, is defined in your assessment.

What to expect from the assessment

The assessment is a consultation to review your case and your goals, and to confirm whether this treatment is indicated for you. The plan and the number of sessions are defined there.
